Marketing Strategy
Before beginning a boot camp program, decide who your target audience is. Trader at Fitness & Image Results explains, “We purposely decided to target women in the 25- to 35-year age group for this program. These women are a different demographic from our personal training clients. They are looking for something different from the traditional aerobics class format.” Trader also points out that “the boot camp’s intense type of training has a number of benefits, including increased strength and cardiovascular endurance, with greater calorie burning and fat loss.” These types of benefits should be mentioned in marketing materials. Using RPE for Exercise Intensity
Another method for prescribing and monitoring exercise intensity involves using ratings of perceived exertion (RPE). Perceived exertion refers to the physical strain individuals believe they are experiencing while exercising. Secret conversations of a Survivor Challenge Planner, Part 2
I really like this thought. Being a Reiki master, I often purposely soak up the energy of the moon and allow my body to just tingle and feel lighter. Try it sometime. Stare into the moon, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and just imagine that the same energy that creates the tides is also moving in and through you, filling every cell, pulling on you just the tiniest bit. Also know that, according to the laws of physics, the entire magnetic energy of the moon is there even if the sun is only reflecting a quarter-moon, for example. Read the rest of this entry »
Secret conversations of a Survivor Challenge Planner, Part 1
It seems as though those who plan the challenges have a bit too much else on their minds. What might this be? Well, let’s explore this episode and see if we can learn a few things.
Team Church Social begins the episode with their discussing the fact that Sook Jai is once again at Tribal Council and how they deserve to be winning because they’ve worked really, really hard. They make fun of Penny’s cheerleader-ness and sweetness. They laugh as Brian mimics Ken, “How does my hair look?
