Do you think long-distance relationships can last?
A long-distance relationship is kind of like buying futures on the commodities market: You’re deferring immediate profits. Whether or not this is the right romance option for you depends both on your temperament and what life-developmental phase you’re growing through.
Question:
Our family has hosted a holiday party on December 18 every year for the past decade. The last two years have proved troubling since we noticed that a few friends and family members had too much to drink. Despite our urgings, they refused to let us or someone else drive them home, insisting they were perfectly able to drive themselves. We do not want to cut them from our guest list as they are close friends and family members. How can we best handle this problem?
My favorite couple is self destructing right before my very eyes and it’s all their fault! Phyllis and Jack are working overtime to kill their marriage and I wish they would just stop it already!
I love Phyllis and Jack. They are fun and funny. They really love each other and they bring out the best in each other. I was thrilled when they finally got married. But now they are ruining it all.
